    HOME

    • Always arm your alarm and camera system when you leave home and lock your doors.
    • Leave your floodlights on at night. Lights with motion detectors can be effective in deterring criminal activity around your home.
    • Record serial numbers and take photos of valuables. This information is extremely useful to our investigators when attempting to locate stolen items.
    • Destroy packaging from purchases like televisions, computers, and power tools. Don’t leave the box outside on the street. Break it down and place it in the waste or recycle bin.

    VEHICLE

Most vehicle break-ins are a result of unlocked doors. Lock your doors. Always take your keys out of the vehicle when you exit your vehicle. Do not leave valuables in your vehicle. These items are targeted by thieves, especially when they are left in plain view.
