    Captain’s Office

    Captain Ben Sutton

    Captain Sutton is responsible for the daily operations of the police department and is responsible for leadership and supervision of the Patrol Division, Special Operations Division, Criminal Investigations Division, and Administrative Division.

    Administrative Division

    Lieutenant Keith Peterson

    Lieutenant Peterson commands the Administrative Division. The Administrative Division provides support services to the department. These services include records management, clerical support, animal control, and code enforcement. The Communications Center and Jail are also operated within this division.

    Patrol Division

    Lieutenant Eric Hampton

    Lieutenant Eric Hampton commands the Patrol Division. The Patrol Division is the largest and most visible division in the Police Department. Officers within the division proactively patrol the community to deter crime and to assist community members. The division consists of 4 Sergeants, 6 Corporals, 34 Officers, and 3 K-9 Handlers.

    Criminal Investigations Unit

    Lieutenant Doug Finch 

    Lieutenant Finch commands the Criminal Investigations Division.The criminal investigations division is the investigative branch of the department. Detectives assigned to this division are responsible for the investigation of reported crimes. The division consists of a Crimes against Persons Unit, Property Crimes Unit, Financial Crimes Unit, and Internal Affairs Unit.

    Special Operations Division

    Lieutenant Greg Brundage

    Lieutenant Brundage commands the Special Operations Division. The Special Operations Division staffs and operates the training unit, motorcycle unit, special investigations unit, school resource unit, and the tactical team.
